The Frankfort Chess Masters

Frankfort Chess Masters Mission:

Frankfort Chess Masters primary purpose is offering chess players in central Kentucky a place to play here in Frankfort, bring chess up to more people, and help club members develop/improve their chess skill through practice, whether competitive or casual play.

Chess is not only an art or a sport; chess is also a powerful educational tool for personal growth and skill development. Our mission is simple, we want to help enrich or enhance people's life through the game of chess.

The Frankfort Chess Masters meet on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Mondays of the month from 6:00 PM-9:30 PM

On the 2nd and 4th Mondays, we hold Golden Knight Fight competitions, with prizes for first and second place. The 3rd Monday is reserved for free play (no clock). 

The group will NOT meet on the following dates: 

  • 1/20/2025 MLK Day-Closed
  • 5/56/2025 Memorial Day-Closed
  • 7/14/2025 Office is reserved for Fair Week
  • 12/22/2025 Christmas Break-Closed

El objetivo principal de Frankfort Chess Masters es ofrecer a los jugadores de ajedrez en el área central de Kentucky un lugar para jugar aquí en Frankfort, acercar el ajedrez a más personas y ayudar a los miembros del club a desarrollar o mejorar sus habilidades ajedrecísticas mediante la práctica, ya sea de manera competitiva o casual.

El ajedrez no es solo un arte o un deporte; el ajedrez también es una poderosa herramienta educativa para el crecimiento personal y el desarrollo de habilidades. Nuestra misión es simple: queremos ayudar a enriquecer o mejorar la vida de las personas a través del juego del ajedrez.

El club de ajedrez 'Frankfort Chess Masters' se reúne el 2do, 3er, y 4to Lunes de cada mes de 6:00 PM a 9:30 PM.

El segundo y cuarto Lunes realizamos una competencia, 'Golden Knight Fights', con premios para el primer y segundo lugar. El tercer Lunes es reservado para juego casual (sin reloj).

El grupo NO se renunirá en las siguientes fechas:

20/1/2025 Día de Martin Luther King: cerrado.

5/5/2025 Día de los Caídos: cerrado.

14/7/2025 La oficina está reservada para la Semana de la Feria.

22/12/2025 Vacaciones de Navidad: cerrado.
